Underwater experiences aren’t just about diving, they’re about entering a world unlike any other. For over 3,700 dives, I’ve submerged myself into this realm, and every time, the thrill of discovery keeps me coming back for more.
Some of my most unforgettable moments include:
Brushing noses with an 18-foot tiger shark in Fiji, a moment that left me in awe of the power and grace of the ocean.
Being mesmerized by an electric clam in Fiji.
Flying with giant Oceanic Manta Rays in Socorro, their wingspans as wide as a dining room table.
Discovering a Frog Fish in Bonaire, luring prey into its mouth with its unique hunting technique.
Gliding alongside my favorite animal, the Spotted Eagle Ray, for over 20 minutes in Indonesia’s brisk current.
Watching Angel Fish interact with turtles in Cozumel, showcasing the incredible relationships that exist in our oceans.
Discovering that Eels have teeth in the roof of their mouths, in Bonaire.
My most rewarding experience of all – introducing and sharing our underwater world with a wide eyed and excited young child, whose initial fear, turned to overwhelming excitement in witnessing what is under the sea!
